Panaji: There is a continuation of political upheaval in Goa. A team of BJP leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are reaching Goa on Sunday to join Goa’s Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) who is suffering from pancreatic cancer. This team will prepare a political road map of the state’s BJP coalition government.

Talking to reporters, state BJP President Vijay Tendulkar said that the team is headed by BJP general secretary Ramlal. “We will meet the party’s senior leaders and alliance partners to prepare the road map for the future,” Tendulkar said.

Some BJP leaders in favor of mid-term elections!
A section of senior BJP leaders believe that the state assembly should be dissolved in the midterm elections while some legislators believe that the government should continue to run at any cost.

Ramlal will meet BJP functionaries, coalition partners and independents who support the government to formulate political strategy and consider the option of chief ministerial post.
