Bhubaneswar : BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reiterated his party’s equidistance stand from Congress and BJP.
BJD is equidistant from congress and BJP, BJD chief Patnaik told reporters here today.
With this the political debate over BJD’s possible poll tie-up in the grand alliance at the national level has been put to rest. The regional party will fight singlehandedly with its principal political opponents- Congress & BJP- as it had done in 2014 general election.
“For us, both Congress and BJP are untouchable. BJD’s political and popular base is very much intact in Odisha. It will emerge victorious in the 2019 general election with consummate ease”, said a senior leader of the regional party.
