New Delhi: The MCC World Cricket Committee has appealed to the world's wealthiest board BCCI to made changes in his attitude and efforts to include cricket in the Olympic Games. According to former cricketers, if cricket is included in the Olympics then it will greatly benefit the game. Cricket was last played in 1900 Paris Games and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has said that the T20 format of cricket in the Olympics has supported most of its member countries.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has endorsed cricket in the Olympic Games and is looking forward to making the tournament among all the top teams in the world, but the world's most influential board is not a supporter of BCCI Cricket to be included in the Olympics.
After the meeting of the MCC this week, the panel of former cricketers has requested the BCCI to see their side again. Committee Chairman Mike Gatting said at the press conference "I am very angry with this party of the Indian board."
