Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar says that if the Censor Board has certified Padmavat, then the Goa government has no objection to the film's performance in the state. Parrikar said, "If they have a censor certificate, then we have no objection. If there is any issue of law and order, then we will see it." He said, "We have not received any information about the release of the movie yet. If it has a sensor certificate, then we are not stopping it." He said, "If they come with some amendments with a censor certificate, then we do not see any major reason for interference in it."

There is no problem with law and order now: Parrikar

Parrikar also said that the state police had expressed concern about the performance of the film in the peak season of Goa in December, because many security personnel were busy in taking care of the law and order during that time. He said that after peak tour of tourism is over, it is no longer worried. Parrikar said, "The police report was on the peak season. The peak tourism season is over, so there is no problem." It is to be noted that due to the high number of tourists in December law and order often becomes chaotic. The Women's cell of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cited the law and order for the film's performance in Goa and the misrepresentation of Rani Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film. After so much controversy and delay, the Central Board of Film Certification finally certified Padmavat and cleared the path of its release in theaters. The film is being released on January 25, although manufacturers are awaiting official confirmation.

'Padmavat' will not be released in Rajasthan

Let us tell you that Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has made it clear that Padmavat will not be released in Rajasthan. He said that in respect of the public sentiments of the people, the film "Padmavat" will not be displayed in the state. This film will not be shown in any of the state's theaters. Raje has said that the sacrifice of Rani Padmini is associated with the honor and dignity of the state, hence Rani Padmini is not just a chapter of history but our self-respect. We will not let them regrett their dignity at any cost. They also gave instructions to Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria regarding this. Let me tell you that it was about to be released on December 1. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranvir Singh are in the lead roles. Many Rajput groups have alleged that historical facts have been tampered with in the film, although Bhansali denied it.
