New Delhi: Indian Railways is starting the Ramayana Express from November 14th. This train will pass through all the important sites connected with Lord Rama’s life. During the 16-day travel package, special trains will access all pilgrimage sites of Ramayana. Travelers from this train will be able to visit Sri Lanka along with the country. It was announced on behalf of the Railways that those travelers who are willing to travel to Sri Lanka will have to book the air tickets of Colombo from Chennai.
IRCTC is managing full tour
This entire tour is being managed by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). Let us tell you that the Ramayana Express was announced by the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal in July. The Ramayana Express, which starts from Safdarjung railway station in New Delhi, will pass through Ayodhya, Nandigram, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayag, Shringverpur, Chitrakoot, Nasik, Hampi and Rameshwaram.

The first stop on the train will be Ayodhya, Hanuman Garhi, Ramkot and Kanak Bhawan Temple. After visiting here, the tourist train will be reach Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayag, Shringwarpur, Chitrakoot, Nasik, Hampi and Rameswaram.
After this, those travelers who wish to visit Ramayana related sites in Sri Lanka will be taken by airplane. For tour package 15,120 Rs. has been taken from travelers traveling in India. At the same time, the passengers willing to go to Sri Lanka will be taken to Colombo via air route from Chennai. Every traveler has paid an extra payment of Rs 36,970 for Sri Lanka’s tour package for five days and six nights.
