New Delhi: Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has now stepped into the Garments Industry. The first ‘Patanjali Paridhan’ showroom was inaugurated at Netaji Subhash Place, New Delhi on Monday. On the special occasion of Dhanteras, Patanjali started his own Garments business.
During this time, well known wrestler Sushil Kumar along with Ramdev and film producer Madhur Bhandarkar was also present. 3,000 new products will be sold in ‘Patanjali Apparel’ showroom. Indian clothing to western clothes, accessories and jewelry will be sold from here. There will also be a discounts up to 25% in this showroom on Diwali.
On the occasion of launch, Ramdev said that by December, he will open about 25 new stores in the country. There is only this store in Delhi, where jeans are getting 1100 rupees. Ramdev said that all the clothes of men, by the name “Sanskar” and all the clothes of women will be sold from the “Astha” brand.
In the ‘garment’ showroom, clothes will be sold in different categories by Live Fit Sportswear, Ethnic Wear, Astha women wear, Sanskar men wear.
Baba Ramdev told the media that to compete foreign companies ‘Patanjali Paridhan is going to start, from which jeans to ethnic wear and accessories will be available.
The company has written in its invitation letter, “The way Patanjali Paridhan” will start the new revolution of economic freedom in the same way as the freedom struggle started from Khadi, because the clothes are not just a garment but our identity, self-esteem and it is a sign of self-pride, which should not be compromised at any cost.
The company claims that indigenous jeans will be very comfortable for Indians, especially women. About 3000 products will be launched under ‘Paridhan’. Bedsheets, yoga wear, sportswear, in other apparel products, will also be inspired by Indian culture.
