Somebody celebrating ‘Shaurya Divas’, somewhere save constitution, Babri demolition is relevant even today

New Delhi: 26 years ago the Ayodhya shake with the presence of thousands Kar Sevaks in Uttar Pradesh was shocked. On December 6, 1992, with shouting the slogan of Jai Shri Ram, the Kar Sevaks climbed to the Babri Masjid dome and demolished it. After that an idol of Ramlalla put in a tent. But despite the political promises and intentions, even after about two and half decades have passed, the Ram temple could not be built till today. However, circumstances are different on this anniversary of the Babri demolition and this date is being seen as a symbol of bravery, while declaring demolition as a crime, the slogan of ‘Save the Constitution’ is also rising.

Before the next general elections to be held next year, the discussion about construction of Ram Temple in the entire country is on the horizon. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has reached Ayodhya and has given up the ultimatum to the Modi government to tell the date of construction of Ram temple. On the other hand, Sadhus-Saints are even more vocal and they are looking hard. Many factions of saints given an open warning to the present government while teaching the lesson in the election.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has also clearly demanded the construction of a temple by making laws with the government. From leaders’ speeches to sages of saints, this is the most vivid issue in the center of every discussion. Meanwhile, on December 6, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has prepared a new movement.

Shaurya Divas

Although the VHP has been claiming to commemorate the bravery day from December 1993 onwards every year, but this time the organization has planned to launch a new movement on this occasion. On 6th December, where the programs of Havan, Puja have been organized along with Dharma Sabha in Karsevak Puram Ayodhya. At the same time, the organization plans to give a memorandum to the District Magistrates in all the districts.

VHP spokesman Sharad Sharma has said that a special worship of Goddess Saraswati will be perform in the city of Lord Ram on the occasion of Shaurya Divas so that can help in the removal of any obstacle from the way of construction of Ram temple.

According to Sharad, after reciting Hanuman Chalisa, memorandum will be written to the President, the Prime Minister and the Governor with the request to remove obstacles coming in the construction of the Ram temple and demand for a law for the construction of the temple will be sought. That is, VHP’s ‘Shaurya Divas’ is being celebrated as a collective call before the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Save the constitution, save the country

While the VHP is celebrating on 6th December as Shaurya Divas, the Left parties believe that the demolition of Babri Masjid on this day was the attack on the values of the Constitution and secularism and communal forces should keep Hindutva politics with more intense to remain in power. Left parties saying that the Ram temple dispute is pending in the Supreme Court, yet it is being tried to spread frenzy as a matter of faith. This is the reason why the Left has decided to celebrate this day as the Save Constitution.

Rally in Delhi on 9th December

If talked about Hindu organizations, the 26th anniversary of Babri demolition has not been finite to celebrate the Shaurya Divas, but it has also been targeted to run a countrywide movement for building the Ram temple. The VHP is going to organize a rally on 9th December in Delhi on the demand of building a law for constructing a temple in Ayodhya. In which a large number of sadhus-saints will gather and demand to make laws for the temple.

People from all over the country have been called in this rally to be held at Ramlila Maidan, for which more than two thousand meetings have been held from the provincial level to the block level. Even going from door to door, support for the temple is being sought. The rally aims to raise 5 lakh people.

The Joint Secretary of the VHP Surendra Jain has informed that after considering the nationwide public sentiments in favor of constructing a temple after the nine-December rally in Delhi, the views of all parties will change that the temple be constructed through law and all the parties in the Parliament will support it.

However, till the Supreme Court’s decision, any possibility of making a law in this regard has been clearly denied by the government and the ruling BJP. Regardless, its VHP and RSS are constantly demanding the law. Even the VHP has also spoken about the support of Congress president Rahul Gandhi on this issue. At the same time, it has also made it clear that if Delhi’s efforts fail, then the final decision will be taken in this matter in the religious assembly to be held in Prayag Kumbh on January 31 and February 1.

That is to begin the finalization of the fight from this day in 2018 to reach the culmination of the debate on the demolition of the mosque on December 6, 1992, which was the beginning of the effort to build the Ram temple.
