Students will be able to buy Laptop up to 50,000 in this scheme

New Delhi: Every student needs a laptop for studying these days. There are many students who are not able to buy laptops due to poverty and money shortage. Let us tell you, no economic obstacle will anymore for the students of Bihar to buy laptops. State Government is now planning to provide laptops to students under the Student Credit Card Scheme (SCC).

An official of the Bihar Education Department said that the department is preparing to give laptops to 50,000 students from the student credit card. He said that under the Student Credit Card Scheme in the education department a new provision has been made to provide laptops. It is notable that the government provides loans to the students as education loan, under the Student Credit Card. Students’ interest in this loan has also increased.

According to the sources, students will get separate facilities along with the cost of college fees and hostels. The acceptance of loan from the student credit card for laptops will be given to the students of technical, medical and IT (information technology). Students will be able to charge a maximum of 50,000 for laptops.

It is noteworthy that under the program of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Public Dialogue program last week, a student had suggested allowing students studying in the technical field to take a laptop from a student credit card. The student had said that the laptop has not been included in the student credit card scheme. After this the Chief Minister directed the senior officers of the Education Department to try it in this matter. Sources say that the Education Department has prepared a proposal for this matter and will soon be sent to the Cabinet meeting for approval.
