Bhubaneswar:A major fire which engulfed the Rosaghara (kitchen) of Ananta Basudev temple in the city triggered large scale damage.

22 thatched rooms were completely gutted as inferno swept through the thatched structures during wee hours today. Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire from spreading further.

Meanwhile Tourism and Culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda has sanctioned Rs 3 lakh for the reconstruction of the Rosaghara of the temple.
