Unnao case: No proof against MLA- UP govt. in HC, court will decide tomorrow

Allahabad: Allahabad High Court has taken a tough stand in the Unnao gang-rape case. The court has asked the government whether you want to arrest the MLA or not. During the hearing in the High Court, the UP government has said in its reply that they do not have enough evidence against the legislator right now. The Advocate General said that action will be taken as per legal process. The court has expressed resentment over the response of the government. In this case today the debate has been completed. The court has reserved the verdict. Now the court will decide the verdict tomorrow at two o’clock in the afternoon.

During the hearing on Thursday, the High Court said that on 4 June 2017 the MLA was accused of rap. FIR filed on SIT report on April 11, 2018. The court has said that whatever allegations against the MLA are serious. In response to this, the SIT official said that they will arrest the MLA. The Advocate General has said that the entire process will be done under the legal process.

Let you know that on Thursday DGP of Uttar Pradesh Police OP Singh did press conference in this matter. On the question of the arresting of the accused MLA, UP’s DGP OP Singh says that he is just the accused. The CBI will decide on his arrest.
