Bhubaneswar: Odisha which has failed to ensure the safety and security of women will be overthrown in the 2019 assembly polls.
Predicting the fall of Naveen Patnaik-led government in the State, Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani today blamed the State government for all round failure and claimed the BJP will voted to power by conscious voters in Odisha.
Irani, while addressing the executive body meeting of the party here, women have fallen prey to lack of governance in the State. Physical and sexual assault cases are on the rise. With government-run health service health service eluding them, 60% women are afflicted with malnutrition and anaemia, she claimed.
The State government’s decision not to implement not to implement Ayushman Bharat Yojana smacks of narrow political consideration detrimental to the larger interest of the people, she said.
The party cadres here have vowed to overthrow the BJD government and the 120+ mission (winning 120 plus seats) of the party will pay dividends in the next election, she concluded.
