BSNL now offers more validity on its long-term Rs 1,699 prepaid plan, makes it better value than before
BSNL has been recently revamping its prepaid plans in a bid to gain more attention from consumers. Similar to its rivals, the state-owned telecom operator has been coming up with additional benefits in terms of data or calls. After working on the 151-Abhinandan plan, BSNL has now revamped its popular long-term plan worth Rs 1,699. And it’s good news for those who don’t like recharging their numbers frequently.
BSNL has extended the validity on its popular Rs 1,699 prepaid plan under a promotional offer. This plan initially used to offer a validity of 365 days and now, BSNL has added another 90 days of subscription to this plan. Therefore, subscribers will be offered now the validity of 455 days. That’s an extension of almost three months over the previous validity.
With an extension in validity, this plan becomes an even better value than before. And when you consider what else this plan offers, it becomes possibly the perfect plan for those who want a balance between all kinds of benefits.
With the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan, BSNL is still offering 2GB data per day and now with the extended validity, it becomes an even better value. And when you add the BSNL Bumper Offer that offers an extra 2.2GB data per day to the plan, you get a total of 4.2GB data per day. Apart from data benefits, this plan also offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls.
With this plan, subscribers will be able to get a balanced long term plan with benefits regarding alls, messages and unlimited calling.
Previously, BSNL revised the 151-Abhinandan plan keeping in mind what the competition offers at this price category. The area where BSNL has made the change is the data benefits. Previously, BSNL was offering 1GB data per day for the entire duration of the validity of the pack. 1GB data is good enough for those who have limited Internet usage but for those who do a lot of streaming, this is too less. With the revision, BSNL added an extra 500MB data, thereby increasing the per day data allotment to 1.5GB data.
