Five Time Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Still Treasures 30-year-old Ambassador Car, Owes Rs 15 Lakh Loan To Sister Gita Mehta

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who rode to power for record fifth term in office in 2019, Rs continues to treasure an Ambassador car of 1980 model valued as Rs 8,905, according to the statement of movable and immovable assets declared by the Chief Minister’s Office.

Although the graph of Naveen’s property has considerably increased as compared to last year, the CM has not been able to repay the loan of Rs 15 lakh that he borrowed from his elder sister, Gita Mehta on 9 March, 2015.

Incidentally the five-time chief minister is yet to repay the Rs 15 lakh loan that he borrowed from his elder sister, Gita Mehta on 9 March, 2015. It is altogether a different matter altogether that Naveen’s property has made a rise as per the latest asset statement.

The interesting features of property statements issued by Naveen’s council of ministers are that the health minister Naba Das is in possession of firearms while the property of Panchayati Raj Minister Pratap Jena climbed up substantially by Rs 4.5 crore in a year span.

The Information and Technology Minister Tusharkanti Behera owns the least of movable and immovable assets among Naveen’s council of ministers. Behera owns 4,830 square plot at Chandaka in Bhubaneswar, a car worth Rs 5 lakh and 90 grams of gold, according to statement issued by chief minister’s office.

As per the latest property statement, Naveen is the owner of Rs 64.26 crore property (movable property worth Rs 62, 66,663.93, immovable inherited properties valued at over Rs 63,64,15,261).

The chief minister has bank deposits of over Rs 40 lakh while he owns a farm land and building in an area of 22.7 acre at Tikri Khera village of Faridabad valued at Rs 10, 75, 51,071, as per the valuation done in March, 2017.

Patnaik also owns 50% share of his ancestral property situated at APJ Abdul Kalam Road in New Delhi valued at Rs 43, 36, 18,000. Besides, the BJD supremo owns two-third share of Naveen Niwas worth over Rs 9.52 crore, as on August 18, 2017.
