Bhubaneswar: Four persons were killed in separate road accidents during wee hours today in Kalahandi and Khurda districts.
Two motorcyclists were killed on the spot near Dulukibandha Chowk in Dharmagarh when their bike crashed into a speeding SUV coming from opposite direction. Both were received dead at Dharamgarh hospital. The deceased persons are yet to be identified, local police said.
In another road accident, two persons identified as Narendra Guru and Jitendra Nayak, died after a car carrying them skidded fell off Luhasankha Bridge near Jatni in Khurda district.
The driver of the vehicle might have possibly dozed off leading to the mishap. There is hint of ‘sleep’ in the fatal accident, police said.
