Bhubaneswar: Odisha High Court has directed the State Selection Board (SSB) to conduct fresh written test for vacant lecturers’ posts in non-government aided colleges while setting aside the test conducted earlier on March 10 last.
Acting on petition by applicants alleging discrepancies in the question papers, a single bench of the High Court directed SSB to conduct the examination for the existing vacancies of 124 lecturers’ post.
The question papers were erroneous and faulty, with some of the questions being out of the syllabus.
All possible steps should be taken to see that the question papers are set flawlessly will all accuracy. The result of written examination should be published expeditiously, the court ruled.
